Happy Sri Krishna Janmashtami! We had close to 200 participants and following are results of the contests. Congratulations to all the winners!

Registration & Submission: Krishna Fest Registration Form
Important Note: Photo or video must contain a hand written label “Krishna Fest 2022”. Absence of this will disqualify the submission.
Due Date: by Friday – August 12th 2022
5 Contests: Guidelines for each contest are mentioned below
Age Groups: 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 and 13-16 years
Judgement criteria: Judges who are specialized in the particular area will select winners from each age group

Results & Prizes: Winners will be announced on Janmashtami (August 19th) for all age groups. Winning entries and names will be published on the temple website and social media. They will also be able to perform special archana for family and collect prizes and prasadam pack from the Temple (Date will be communicated to the winners).
Krishna Costume
Guidelines:
- Upload one picture of your child/children wearing the costume themed around Krishna and His associates like Radharani, Gopis, Gopas etc. using registration form (by the date mentioned above). If you have two children, they both can be dressed as two separate characters. For example, a single child might be dressed as Baby Krishna. Siblings together could be dressed as Yashoda Krishna, Krishna Balaram etc.
- Photo must contain a hand written label “Krishna Fest 2022”.
Art
Guidelines:
- Drawing/painting a picture related to Lord Krishna and his activities (anything related to Krishna) should be uploaded using the registration form.
- Art must contain a title “Krishna Fest 2022”
Bhagavad Gita Sloka Recitation
Guidelines:
- For age groups under 2 years, 1 sloka from Bhagavad Gita should be memorized and recited.
- For age groups 3 – 5 years, 3 slokas from Bhagavad Gita should be memorized and recited.
- For age groups 6 – 8 years, 5 slokas from Bhagavad Gita should be memorized and recited.
- For age group 9 and above, 10 slokas, from Bhagavad Gita should be memorized and recited.
- Video must contain a hand written label “Krishna Fest 2022”.
Singing
Guidelines:
- Any Krishna song / Vishnu song authored by a bonafide acharya can be sung. Singing should not cross 3 mins duration.
- Video must contain a hand written label “Krishna Fest 2022”.
Dancing
Guidelines:

- Participants should upload a recorded dance clip (of duration not more than 5 mins. Longer than 5 mins will be disqualified). The dancing should be for Krishna/Vishnu songs or classical music. The dancing can be folk or classical, but should not be cinematic in nature. The mood should be devotion.
- Video must contain a hand written label “Krishna Fest 2022”.
