Parents looking for an enriching, culture-based afterschool experience for their children have a new local option. Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir has officially announced the launch of its Gopal Kidz Afterschool Program, designed to offer the ultimate mix of learning, fun, and personal development for students in 1st through 6th grade.
Operating Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, the program provides a safe and engaging environment for children after the standard school day ends. It is conveniently located at the temple premises at 680 E Calaveras Blvd in Milpitas.
The Gopal Kidz curriculum goes beyond traditional childcare by blending academic support with holistic and cultural education. Along with daily homework help, children will participate in arts and crafts, yoga sessions, and traditional Bhagavad Gita and Shloka recitation. The program also promises fun and educational field trips, including visits to the local Goshala (cow sanctuary).
To ease the daily logistical challenges for busy families, the program boasts two major complementary perks: free school pickup and a free hot lunch for all attendees.
Tuition for the comprehensive afterschool care is set at $649 per month. To celebrate the launch of the 2026 season, Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir is currently offering an Early Bird Special, which provides $50 off the first month’s tuition strictly for the first 10 families to register.
